NEW ORLEANS MOPAR SHOW 2018

Well another show is behind us and 2018 proved to be another great show.

The Friday tour went off without a hitch. Buses got off in time and everyone loved our tour guides and the places that they were taken to visit. Lunch at the New Canal Lighthouse hosted by the Mopars at the Marina Krewe included authentic New Orleans Roast Beef PoBoys, a wonderful view of the lake, cool breeze and our wonderful two day guests.

Of course the day ended with a night down in DaParish at the Aycock Barn. Highlights of the night included:

All the wonderful food as always

Music by Faith Becnel and her band

Dancing by nearly everyone, even some sporting a walking cane!

Harrycanes, King Cake Shots, and beer, some Dixie of course.

A wonderful rendition of Johnny Be Good by our Paul Reynolds and even more charming performance by Cindy Reynolds.

A seafood eating contest with competitors chosen from our guests and some very well dressed volunteer judges.

2018 SHOW DAY

Everything was near perfect except the weather forecast that predicted rain that never showed up. In spite of that the place filled with some of the finest Mopar metal from near and far. Both Classic and Modern were well representated and made for interesting sites and some great comradery.
